Here we have a beautiful Baccarat Crystal decanter. Absolutely gorgeous ormolu embellishments It is approximately 9 1/4 inches tall to top of stopper. Both the bottom of stopper and bottom of decanter are hallmarked. It’s in nice condition. When held upside down in light at angle, you can see some faint, faint watermarks on bottom of decanter. There are some abrasions to bottom of Crystal decanter as well. The metal design around Crystal and stopper are nice and bright. This could have been even re-gilded at some point. However, this is exactly how we acquired piece many years ago. Bottom base, metal trim below lady design has a little pushing, creases, etc. See photograph. The design on top of stopper appears to have some type of an adhesive to keep design down. You can notice this upon very close inspection when stopper is upside down and looking through Crystal. In addition, there is a buildup of this adhesive that’s noticeable upon close inspection around the torch designs that is in between the Eagles. Now we’re being exact as possible as we do not want any surprises and we want to be as thorough as possible with description and condition. It has a weight of 3 lbs. 10 oz. _as you can see, this is a beautiful example that is elegant and lavish. Please review all photographs enlarged.
