The Set Itself: A set of six Baccarat for Tiffany & Co Nemours champagne flutes. Designed by Tiffany & Co Vice President John Loring, these turned stem champagne flutes feature Baccarat’s Nemours pattern of layered vertical cuts around the base of the bowl. The underside of each glass features the Baccarat and Tiffany & Co watermark. One of Baccarat’s most beloved patterns, this Nemours champagne flute set breathes elegant originality. Highly complex in their THICK lead glass crystal stems - which taper up to an ever so delicate “lip,’ this set is both bold and understated… showy yet not flashy. These glasses have a lovely, solid weight… substantial in their thick glass build. That said, they are anything but cumbersome. The “tapered glass” build means the glasses are thin where you want them to be, while thick and chunky in places your lips will not be touching. The - perfect - champagne flute! Each one of these champagne flukes is beautifully conditioned, having never been functionally put to any real use. Of all six glasses, there is but - one - glass that boats visible wear. This comes in the form of a truly tiny “chip” justtt at the top of the glass (this is photographed above, in the last photo - you have to look - very - closely). Each one of the glasses is stamped with the Baccarat logo on the base, as well as the Tiffany & Co watermark. These glasses (I believe) emanate a lovely gothic aesthetic… looking like something one would find a count drinking out of in his elaborate, ornate castle. They are perfect for any occasion, any season, any celebration.
