This listing is for a set of 4 vintage Baccarat Crystal Cognac/Brandy Tulip-Shaped Glasses with a 6-sided cut stem. They measure 5 3/4" tall, 1 3/4" across the top, 2 13/16" across at the bottom and combined weigh 14 ounces. They are marked on the bottom "BACCARAT FRANCE". According to the Cognac Expert website the Tulip Glass is "The Cognac tasting glass of choice for the Cognac connoisseur. Long and thin in shape, with a narrow rim, it allows the drinker to look at the Cognac, and intensifies the aromas to best appreciate the bouquet. Is so named because of its ‘’tulip like’ shape." [link removed by eBay]These are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other flaws. These belonged to my grandparents who likely purchased them in the mid 1970s. I inherited these in the late 1990s and they have been boxed up since then in bubble wrap. They have been extremely well cared for in the past. Please see the photos for more detail.
